Silverton Inn & Suites

Comfortable, great host and location. Good beds!

Exterior was very cute. Interior did not meet the same level of cuteness. Beds were decently comfortable. TV was good size and worked well. Seemed very clean. Surprised by massaging recliner.

Quilts on beds were far too thin for the time of year, so had to use extra blankets from the closet. Heating unit was very loud and vibrated when running. Bathroom only had pedestal sink so no counter space. No lid for toilet seat. Water in bath sink was only a minimal stream and would not get hot. Kitchenette sink also had barely any water pressure and only got hot after running for several minutes. Staff was loudly rolling trash cans around outside for quite a while at a late hour (10:00pm).

Room was clean, beds comfortable. Lovely large kitchen with dishes, large refrigerator, full stove. The host was very friendly and helpful and recommended a fantastic restaurant (Sandee Thai) and some good hiking trails. The hotel is right downtown, fun for walking around. The heater was noisy and bathroom floor very cold, otherwise loved it. There are nice air b-n-b's around but loved being downtown in charming Silverton. Looks to be a good restaurant connected to hotel but was closed during our stay.

The Silverton Inn has a beautiful exterior and is located in the heart of downtown.

Our room was in need of updating/upgrading and just simple maintenance. The wall clock didn’t work, a lightbulb in the bathroom was burned out, the hot water was just a trickle (though the cold water flowed well), the smart TV was difficult to operate with long delays before the next channel appeared when the channel was changed, at times the TV picture and sound were 10 or more seconds out of sync, and the finish on the nightstand was old and peeling.

We enjoyed our stay. Very comfortable! Easy access to town and the Oregon Gardens.

Squeaky bed frames and small wall heaters. Convenient location but premium prices for what is essentially an old school motor hotel.
