Mount Sea Resort

It was as advertised.

Breakfast was free; Staff were well dressed; Garden is beautiful and maintained; Pool is nice; Quiet resort.

Waiting an hour for check-in; Garbage beach; View is blocked; Toilet was clogged; Security issue with unregistered guest.

It was a great hotel.

I was expecting a pleasant a 7 day stay here at this hotel based on their claims of being the most luxurious hotel in the area. The management seems to be focused on trying to make as much money as they can from their current guests rather than customer satisfaction and future returns.

I usually book this hotel when visiting family. I usually like the rooms but this time around either the room I stayed in was not up to par or the hotel itself is beginning to degrade. First, price has significantly increased. Which I wouldn’t have a problem with if the quality was ok. The stay did not come with breakfast either. The rooms had a lot of mosquitoes. The bathroom tiles were beginning to crack and exposed plumbing on the ceiling 🙈 i stayed there for 5 days and needed to constantly remind housekeeping to clean our rooms. One of the days, I noticed they didn’t change the rug for the bathroom - so not sure if they were really changing the towels either. Unfortunately this is the only “decent” hotel nearby but I’ll be considering renting a home instead on a next trip.

The stay was ok. The rooms were a little small. I actually got food poisoning from their breakfast (garlic fried rice), after that I just had toast and coffee. The staff was very helpful and had an upbeat attitude.

As said in my last review. Great staff and gardens, good for vacations and events, needs improvement for business travellers

Superb gardens that are well kept. The setting is great and I will return. Food ok but the breakfasts shoud be served hot. WiFi fast in some rooms. No WiFi in others. Good for families and events but needs improving for business travellers. Need more power points in rooms and outside.

This hotel was decent. Had a late check-in, we used their airport service which was convinient. They do not have 24 hour front desk so make sure you advise them if you're checking in late. When we arrived, it was honestly very weird how there were people sleeping on the couches in the lobby. Im not sure if they were guest or employees of the hotel but it was definitely odd. The rooms were very spacious, but the TV and phones were broken. I only stayed here for 2 nights so my expectations were very low. Breakfast was included but drinks for breakfast wasnt which was I find odd as well. All in all it was a good stay. They don't have elevator but their people are all willing to help you with their luggage.
