Mount Sea Resort

First, the hotel is in a questionable neighborhood and you will not be able to step "off property" and feel safe. Second, the statement that "all rooms were renovated in April 2014" (or something like that) is blatantly false: when we showed up there were no rooms in our class available on the first floor because "they're under renovation." Since there is no elevator we would have had to climb six flights of stairs to get to our room, and we're passed the age where we can easily do this. The staff was uncompromising when it came to allowing an upgrade due to their "renovations" (so we did not have to climb so many stairs) so we cancelled and left. That's when we discovered there were no taxis available in the general area and they had to call for a private car, which is, of course, more expensive. We were in the old section of the hotel wich need renovation, but they renovating the rest of the hotel. all the staff were very nice and helpfull, at the reception desk and even in the restaurant where the food was very good. every body was very nice also with our 4 year's old kid. the swimming pool offered a good playground for us and our son with plenty different size of slide
