NZNZRoom was huge. Bed was comfortable. With not alot of options in area was nice to find a good clean freiendly very warm (with no heating on) room
Always grinds my gears when Tea n coffee not restocked eg cookies etc on more then 1 night sta. we pay same night per room should get same

Nice motel, the newest in Taihape. We had an executive studio which was a bit more roomy and at $170 was reasonably priced. You are on State Highway 1 so the trucks rumble on past. But all the motels in Taihape are on SH1. We ate at The Roast Cottage. Two decent sized meals, a beer and a wine, great value $61.
