FairBridge Inn Express Whitley City

Originally we were booked at lodging in Stearns but were warned by locals not to stay at either motel there and to drive to Whitley City to the FairBridge. Ann at the desk wasn't sure if she had a room per the computer but walked the halls and found one. I think this is very strange and did concern me but we were desperate for accommodations late in the evening. The lobby was pristine, the room was very clean. Manager Billy was very professional and helpful and employees Ann, Morris and Regina were very nice and helpful. Thank you Ann for finding a room for us and good job keeping the only decent motel in many miles so clean!!

Close to some beautiful hiking trails & the scenic railway.

Price was excellent for a quick overnight stay.

The staff was very friendly, hotel was located in a decent area, I found the room to be very clean.

Didn't like: no coffee in room, had to plug in all the lights, door did not match up to door frame, out-dated fixtures and decor, no continental breakfast because of covid (?), few dining options in the area

Wasn’t expecting much for the price but it was surprisingly one of the best hotels we’ve stayed in.

I like this hotel because it's conveniently located in Whitley City by Pine Knot and Stearns, it's affordable, and it's much better/safer than the Parkland motel. Our main complaint is the cleanliness- There were hairs on the bathroom floor (and not the good kind, if you know what I mean). Also, their toilets clog easily if you use 'too much' TP.

The room was clean and comfortable if a bit worn. The amenities were minimal but close enough to fast food and a grocery store. I would stay there again.

We always stay at thislocation while visiting family. Manager is great!
