The room was very clean and staff were courteous!

The person in the room next to me was smoking outside and the smoke went in my Room when I cracked the window open for fresh air!

Mold in seams of shower, cracked floors, run down with basic renovations trying to cover up the problems.

After having a negative experience booking through a third party app(hotel tonight). I went to the hotel because i was nearby and spoke to someone at the front desk if they can cancel the reservation. I was told to go through the third party. I called the third party and they gave me the run around and told me to call the hotel. Once again I talked to someone at the hotel and was given a number to call. After a couple attempts to call the number. I was told to text message the number due to “large volume of calls”. Texting was useless because as soon as I explained the situation and asked if a refund was possible. I was ghosted.

First, we stayed in a basic room, 2 beds, not with a kitchen, etc. It was clean and neat. The bed was super comfy, I liked the bathroom, and the ac worked perfect. We were only flopping for the night, so it was fine and we had a good night sleep. But overall I found the room "depressing", primarily because of the overall lighting. I think for what we paid they could have had a glass, of any kind (even paper or plastic), in the bathroom. Maybe even a desk chair, anything other than the bed to sit on. Finally, the outside light glared through the window all night. Perhaps if there were lined curtains, or a shade, or anyway to shut off the light, or even thicker curtains, it would have helped.
