Port Isla Inn

Port Isla Inn spacious rooms are like a one bedroom apartment. The rooms are clean, has a comfortable bed. Full kitchen with a dining table and living room. The complex is quiet and safe. Very convenient for shopping and dining. The room rate is very good. I would recommend.

Really bad experience. Countertop had not been cleaned. It had a lot of sticky stains of something. There were broken glass in the couch. All cabinet doors you touched felt sticky and gross. The kitchen had no pots, pans or kitchenware. Cabinets where completely empty. How should a guest make food without any kitchenware. The owner said I should just go buy some. Can not recommend booking this Hotel. This Hotel should have a WARNING label.

Checking in was kinda weird and unfriendly

Love that it offered 2 "rooms" for sleeping arrangements. Towels needed to be upgraded. They were basically just rags. Cleanliness felt like someone just went in and out in under 5 minutes, though at least the bed linens were clean. Needs to have access to mop and broom so that guests could keep floors clean.

Clean Nice quiet easy stay affordable

I read the reviews before checking in so I kind of knew what to expect. Our room was not that clean and we had to cleaned it ourselves when we got there. The bed was really hard so I had a hard time sleeping. The plus side was that South Padre Island was only about 10 minutes away. Having a kitchen was great. We were able to cook to save money. Overall the stay was okay. I got what I paid for.

I love the fact it was equipped with a stove, microwave and fridge. It was a nice, comfortable place, front desk personal were nice and helpful. Bed was comfortable, it was nice and cold all night, quiet, overall it was worth it.
