Port Isla Inn

I stayed one night went tobstay another night he charged doible what i payed 1st night, with expedia,they were i dians and owner was predjiudus,against white people very raci s y. And was stalking us to leave at check out time,i have never been,so treated like thay ever and im 61 yrs old

Location is great and staff was friendly. Floors were not cleaned adequately. There were dead small bugs and hair on the sheet covering the box spring, and bed skirts were not very clean. The mattress covers were stained and should have been replaced. Bathroom sink was clogged. Some of these items were addressed by staff. The room has a kitchenette but zero pots, pans, utensils, can opener, etc. You have to bring everything. This is not a pet friendly hotel. We have a service dog but we’re told that this is a no pet hotel. Having said that, they did not hassle us since we presented the service dog documentation. We stayed at this hotel before with no real issues other than un-equipped kitchenette. I hope this was a one time issue.

Older place but very well kept. Awesome location, and great pool!

Surprisingly excellent property to spend a day or week! Very accommodating rooms, clean, quiet, close to everything! I’ll definitely stay here again when in the South Padre Island area.

Poor

Owner was so rude and racist and referred me as you stupid people me being a Hispanic. They’re is a reason why he only helps you through a window. Because like that he can tell you whatever he wants to you.
