Hyatt Place Virginia Beach Oceanfront

This hotel has it all: great location, excellent customer service, and very clean and comfortable rooms. My husband and I have stayed here twice before and I was happy to return with a friend. We were welcomed graciously and received wonderful customer service from everyone including housekeepers, valet attendants, and the lovely woman working the breakfast area. As a wheelchair user I appreciate the accessibility of the hotel and the ADA rooms. Our room had ample room to maneuver on both sides of the bed and in the bathroom, appropriate bed height, a roll-under sink, a shower bench and handheld shower head. The drapes were easily operated with just a slight pull and there were plenty of plugs and usb ports available. The only difficulty I experienced was with the room door which was incredibly heavy, and the provided toiletry dispensers in the shower are out of reach for anyone using the bench. I bring my own toiletries but that might be a problem for some disabled people. Overall this Hyatt Place is a very well run and lovely place to stay.

Sometimes there was a wait for the valet parking when the hotel was busy.

Super friendly staff, great breakfast options, wonderful views (we were on the 9th floor and saw dolphins almost every day), clean room, pretty good wifi, plenty of restaurants and bars within easy walking distance, reasonable rates (at least at this time of the year before it gets super busy). There are also very cool memorials to visit along the boardwalk. Just what we were hoping for. Thanks, Hyatt Place...we'll be back!

The location is amazing , staff are friendly and professional, breakfast in the morning was awesome, room was clean and make sure you get oceanfront view, needless to say , I took the attached photos from my room after waking up in the morning

Great location, friendly staff, convenient valet parking, rooms were clean and updated. Breakfast was also good and loved the convenience of the bar!

Food at the restaurant wasn’t the best…

Cleanliness, service, location, breakfast and everything else is just perfect. Second time staying here with family. We will definetly come back here with family. Highly recommend for singles, couples or family.
