Breakfast was excellent and the staff helpful and polite

Stayed in a twin room 24. Great furniture and nicely laid out. Paintwork a bit tired and needed a refresh Would have benefited from a couple of easy arm chairs to sit in as there was enough space. The bathroom was disappointing. Needed refurbishing

The hotel does what it says on the tin, its functional convenient and consistent, I have stayed here many times, would recommend it and would stay again. Its not super luxurious but comfortable and welcoming, always has crisp white bedding, and is always clean, the water always hot and a good shower.

The floors creak a little but it is an old building, my room was over public areas so I wasn't going to wake anyone when walking around the room which may be a concern if a bedroom were below.

Bathroom plug didn’t work and didn’t realise had to pay for parking as tiny car park

Quirky decor, nice room, super comfortable bed.
