大都市のドーミーインに比べ、大浴場が比較的空いており、行きたい時間に行くことができました。館内・室内特に問題はなく快適に過ごしましたが、立地がやや寂しいところにあり、夜間は人通りもなく、食事をするには下関駅まで行く必要がありますが、駅近辺の食事場所も選択肢が少なく閉店も早いです。またここのドーミーインに限ったことではないのですが、備え付けの館内スリッパのサイズが小さいです。特別足が大きいわけではないですが、かかとがスリッパの外に出てしまいます。申し出れば大きいサイズがあるのでしょうか。
