"Hotel Mana Nui Inn"

8.0

The hotel is set up as cabanas and is a short walk (10-12 minutes) from the main center of town. This is not a luxury hotel but is very clean, beds were adequate, hot showers worked well, working refrigerator, and you felt safe. Because it is just outside of town, it is much more quite and relaxing with no city noises. The cabanas were approximately 200 meters from the ocean shore so we could hear the waves splashing on the beach every morning... nice. Also within a 5 minute walk to one of the important Moai sites on the island. Breakfast was included every morning and was very good (fresh fruit, fresh juice and other items). We were picked up at the airport and greeted with lei's also droped off at the airport when we left for our departing flight. The owner Vicky and daughter Patty, along with all the other staff did not overly fuss over you but made you feel at home. Would recommend this hotel. Finally, mostly everything on the island is more expensive than normal as everything is flown or shiped in. Restarants are not cheap, but there was a restarant very near the hotel that not only was very good food but less expensive than others in town.

"Quiet and a bit of walk from city center"

6.0

Stayed here for 3 nights during my 4-day visit to Easter Island. Location is a bit of town, and it takes a bit of walk (about 15min) to get back to the main street for restaurants, groceries, and other activities. There is an Ahu close by which is good for sunset pictures. There's no wifi in the hotel, and they charge for internet access. Also, only payment in cash is accepted at the end of the stay, but not credit card. Make sure you have enough cash ready for payment. Breakfasts are ok, but basically ham, cheese and bread are the main items.

"Extremely friendly landord"

10.0

Nothing special about comfort indeed I expected a bit more, but Bicky, the owner, literally make you feel home and even better than that. She is quite friendly and a great host. In summary I would recommend Mana Nui Inn, and because my jobs I have been in many five stars hotel worldwide. Finally, just enjoy Easter Island it will recharge yourself of good energy!

"Awesome location"

8.0

We decided to book this once in a lifetime trip to Easter Island after a business trip in Santiago. I found this hotel on hotels.com, but wasn't sure what to expect. On arrival we were greeted at the airport with handmade fresh flower leis by the owner! She loaded up our luggage and drove us back to her hotel. At our room Erica greeted us with fresh guava juice for our check in. She had a map for us and some ideas on how to plan our trip. What an amazing location right on the coast and a quick walk to an amazing Moai site and the island's museum. We rented a car from the hotel and set off for two days of amazing exploring. Erica was awesome with a great breakfast ready for us in the main building every morning. When one of the light bulbs didn't work, she reset our room and brought in a reading lamp. Totally great service. The rooms are plain but comfortable with a good shower and a nice patio. There is also a kitchen available for cooking and a fridge in the room. I would recommend this place for sure!

"Experience Easter Island like a local"

8.0

Mana Nui is an easy 12 mins walk from the town center. And less than that from the Ahu Tahai. I got my own small house which was clean and basic (bedroom with tv (2 channels) and bathroom. There was also an in-room safe and a refrigerator. It would be nice if there was a kettle though. The view from the balcony was great. The surroundings also great, nice garden and a quiet neighbourhood overall. The host Patricia was very polite and attentive. She took care of my transfers to and from the airport and contacted the airline to confirm the departure time. She brought me breakfast to the balcony every morning and fresh flowers. My stay at Mana Nui made my Easter Island experience even more authentic. Easter Island is an amazing place.
