Hotel Olympia

My friend and I enjoyed our short stay at Olympia mainly due to the fantastic family staff. The owner and his daughter were so friendly and helpful and always greeted us with a smile. The room was warm, and the bathroom door was tricky but overall it was clean. The breakfast was great and we couldn't complain about the location (15 min walk to Fira). We would recommend Olympia to anyone coming to Santoria looking for an affordable accommodation.

Please spend a bit more to stay somewhere else unless you just want a hotel with a pool to tan. The room I stayed in was horrible mainly because of the aircon which emitted an extremely foul smelling stench. I approached the manager about this and he said it's not the aircon(which quite obviously was the problem). I decided not to argue and sleep with the windows open but had a horrible night due to the mosquitoes.. To add to this, the manager made some rather racist remarks by saying it's probably the Chinese tourists before me who ate in the room who made it smell bad! So many things wrong with this claim; first and foremost, isn't it the hotel's responsibility to make sure rooms are in good condition for guests?? Breakfast which costed 7Euro was abysmal, please avoid. Location was fine although if you pay a bit more you can be closer to the centre and probably avoid my bad experiences..

Basically for this price I couldn't day anything ahhahahhahah, the hotel was exactly worthy of its price

The owner, Artemis, is one of the nicest people you'll ever meet. He made our stay really memorable. George ang Giorgos were alse very nice. The pool was welcomed, and we had views of the sea. Free wifi in the lobby, but since our room was near the lobby, we had Wifi in our room! Price was perfect for free port pick up and drop off, and it included breakfast. My only warning would be that the front desk is a little disorganized, so don't rush through check out. I actually left my passport, but Artemis is overnighting it to Italy for me. Can't beat the service! Will definitely stay again!
