A really friendly hotel, comfortable, clean and good value. Food is excellent, both for evening meal and breakfast. Would certainly go back if holidaying in the area again.

Great weekend break, great hotel and a very hospitable host Ann. Tended to our every need and a lovely lady. The breakfast was outstanding and the meals in general are of a high standard. We will definitely be making a return visit !

Decor a little dated but very clean and comfortable.friendly staff and lovely food which was very reasonably priced

Location excellent, both for scenery and for exploration of local area. All staff at the hotel were friendly and welcoming, Anne, the owner, always took time to make guests feel at home, comfortable and no request was too much trouble. B&B excellent, plus a pub menu for evening meals if you required them. Reasonable selection, always cooked very well, and serving staff very polite and helpful.

Great stay but not for you if you want all mod cons

Manageress was very attentive even offering me pain killers when she realised I was having pain from a broken wrist. The hotel and locality was well worth a visit

The host Ann was warm friendly and welcoming the staff were friendly helpful and attentive. The beds were comfortable although the room a little on the small side but cosy and quaint. The place was clean and tidy and the three nights we stayed everyday the towels were changed and the room cleaned excellent service. The food was quick to come and excellent great options and choices we enjoyed the food so much we ate there every evening and we celebrated our anniversary and it was acknowledged drinks were reasonably priced although the place boast sky tv it only showed local Freeview channels. Brilliant place to visit would stay here again and recommend to others as a place to stay.
