Very enjoyable stay thanks

Staff very friendly, but accomodation very dated but comfortable

Lovely location, comfortable beds, very clean and friendly hosts. Good value.

Smashing. Lovely welcoming stay. Staff lovely. Food excellent. Plus a very comfortable bed. Some homely old-fashioned touches were lovely - teapot in the bedroom with a supply of teabags.

This was a total COVIDisaster. Expedia seem unable to comprehend that the hotel is closed due to COVID restrictions. Wales is mostly in lockdown. The trip did not take place. I tried several times over the past few weeks to get through to Expedia to no avail. The hotel management tell me they also could not get through. I have used Expedia several time over some years, with no problems. A company stands or falls by its response to problems, and this response was no non-existent. I will not use Expedia again. But they keep coming back for more reviews, again & again.

Had a lovely stay. Staff are helpful and polite. The beds are amazing and sooo comfortable. Food is excellent value and prepared to a high standard. We will definitely stay again.

Great location for scenery, peace and quiet. Short drive to Llangollen. Excellent breakfast, comfortable bed, olde world feel. Recommended.

Has an interesting history. Near interesting places. Staff lovely. Would have been better if bed had been accessible from both sides, but very comfortable. Enjoyed stay.
