Grand Country Waterpark Resort

Staff was rude, stayed there several days and no maid service, requested room close to the pool due to disabilty and was placed far away from the elevator a long distance away from ppol and elevator, grounds in the WAAAAAY back where our room was had garbage in the parking lot like food garbage, diapers etc and maids just walked by... would never stay there again

I liked the breakfast buffet. Everything was good. Only issue, I was given info that the room I was in slept 6, it barely slept 4. Other than that all was good, I will be back.

I liked the price of the place which is the only reason I went with this facility. The waterpark was mostly great but there was a SIGNIFICANT amount of mold in the hot tubs in the filter areas. Pool water was freezing and hot tub temp was lukewarm. My kids sure loved the play area however, the wave pool regulations were STRICT. I get it, safety, but it's the most strict we've ever seen and we've been to many wave pools. Rooms were not bright, would love to see better lighting. Also, our keys stopped working four separate times! Even had to change the entire lock out and it did it again the next day. Pretty annoying. Another annoying issue is they only allow one person per family allowed in the lobby at one time. I ignored that because I'm not leaving my three children in the parking lot by themselves while I check in, that's completely absurd and immediately gave me a bad first impression. Check in was otherwise friendly. Because the price was decent, a lot of the other stuff could be overlooked, however, we won't rebook for these reasons.

Our stay was nothing but Good! Everything was clean ,and housekeeping was very attentive to our needs! I would just bring your own face towels . THE KIDS ENJOYED THE INDOOR POOL!

I like the fact that it was very affordable. The rooms are very outdated. The mini fridge in the room didn’t work. There was a lot of noise outside our room after midnight. I really disliked that there was to many rules at the waterpark. My kids couldn’t enjoy their time there. Many families who were in the pool around us got annoyed also that the lifeguards kept blowing the whistle every second making it difficult for their kids to enjoy there self as well. The water was very cold which kinda sucked. Our experience here wasn’t to great and we will not be visiting again.

Very good stay except for the last two nights we were there there was a woman with 4 or 5 cjildren that was letting them run crazy and make a bunch of moise at like 9:30 pm but when reported mothing was said to them.

This was awful. We have three children. For starters the water was COLD. Our oldest didn’t get to enjoy the playground bc they wouldn’t let her do any of the slides. They have a cute kiddie area but when I tried standing next to it with our infant (who was napping) they said I couldn’t do that and had to be in the area with them, even though I could see them completely and they were wearing floaties.In the wave pool they can’t be more than an arms length from you. I don’t know how many times they blew the whistle on us bc our oldest would start swimming around and get a little bit away and they’d immediately blow it. (And again our kids were wearing their floaties) Once my husband went to take our daughter in further while I was sitting at the edge with our infant and our son decided to go but they had already gotten out of the arms length away so the lifeguard ran over and shoved his floatation in front of our sons face blocking him from getting to his dad (He was within three feet of him) My husband was telling him to stop bc he was coming (also it was only two foot deep where this was happening) he didn’t stop and it terrified our son! He started bawling. Another time I was upstairs feeding our infant and the other kids wanted to go back to the wave pool so my husband took them and at one point the kids separated a little to much and the lifeguard blew the whistle on them again and my husband complained so the lifeguard said “bring less kids next time”

I was upset with how a waterpark lifeguard talked to my husband when it wasnt his fault for getting stuck in the slide. I talked to a "Manager" there that did nothing about it which is disheartening as my kids love there indoor water park along with everything else they have on sight.
