Property in a good position over looks the sea ,it’s in walking distance to a really good restaurant. Badly indeed of make over from dirty carpet an shower etc out dated .

We booked B&B only to find the restaurant had not functioned since end of 2023! No breakfast or any other food has been served for 18 months! The hotel is advertised as 'Moelwyn Hotel & Restaurant'. The board outside calls it 'The Moelwyn Restaurant with Rooms' with additional B&B board! This is misrepresentation! The owner is permanently unavailable!
Booked for a birthday night away, but left feeling deflated and underwhelmed on arrival. The service was very casual and unprofessional. Felt that they weren't ready with information about the booking and left confused about which room we were due. Room was dark a dirty with hair over the carpet and in the hallways. Just felt really underwhelming and very tired. We barley stayed,before we decided to look for other arrangements. My husband struggled to voice his comments to the owner as we left to even attempt any money back at the time as we just wanted to go. Such a fantastic location and the service and quality let it down.
Friendly meet & greet, easy to get to centre & beach
My stay was lovely. The Moelwyn was quiet and clean, right on the seafront and perfect for my short break.
Great touring spot run by lovely, down to earth people. Comfy room, sea view. Lots to do within short travelling distance
We were greeted in a very informal and friendly manner and shown to our room. The room was a lovely room with sea views. It was very very clean and plenty of space including king size bed. Would recommend anytime
