Lochgair Hotel

A lot of noise transference from the the room above really squeaky floors kept waking us up from 6am on both mornings of our stay. On the positive side the breakfast is very good.

Amazing looking hotel opposite the beach. The room was large with a large bedroom but the corridor had a funny smell from damp. The food was good, although it was very difficult to get the staff’s attention in the morning at breakfast and nothing was being refilled so there were limited options which was surprising as we went down during the middle of service.

The food was generally adequate or fairly good, and the place well mantained, despite the outside not looking so attractive. Good location, and despite being on main road that was not disturbing at all.

We stayed here as a pitstop on our journey from Islay to London. It was on the main road. It suited our particular needs that night.

We arrived just before 9pm because of ferry times, but the bar was going to close down at 9pm. If we had bought a drink, we would have had to take it to our room. Not sure why residents couldn’t have been accommodated.

Great property . And a view over the Loch.

Nice room with lovely view. Bed uncomfortable. Dinner was nice just shame there was nowhere comfortable to sit after. Needs more comfy chairs and better set up so can sit downstairs and take in the views.

From check in to check out the whole process was efficient, polite and enjoyable. The bar staff on the evening were very attentive. I will definitely be going back here when in the area

The room was incredibly hot, couldn't open the windows properly, not well slept! Fire protect door direct mounted to the rooms wall, slammed the whole time in the frame, everytime somebody walks through, cannot be endured.

Personale cordiale e molto disponibile: risolto senza problemi né complicazioni un problema di prenotazione. Cena buona a prezzo contenuto e quasi fuori orario. Proprietario grande appassionato di auto, chiacchierata molto piacevole. Non bisogna farsi ingannare dall'aspetto esterno della struttura
