Lovely accommodation and friendly staff. Views are great. Nice food but pricey as a family.

Very friendly staff, excellent food, comfy room. Might be an idea to put a soft closer on the front door to the cottage. Very loud with people coming in and out.

A lovely place to stay and eat. I spent 2 nights at The Fleece Inn. The staff were all lovely and did everything they could to make my stay pleasurable. Food really is the star of the show, I had breakfast and dinner both days and it was something very special. My only negative experience was the bed (room 4) was a bit lumpy, but I slept fine nonetheless.

A fabulous one night stay with brilliant staff and gorgeous hotel in lovely surroundings. Booked at last minute but was highly delighted with it and will return soon for a repeat of a trip that we will never forget , this trip made our Christmas so special and memorable . After our holiday was cancelled because I have to work for half-term, we decided to sneak one night away and chose The Fleece Inn. It was perfect. The room was cosy and clean and the kids loved the mezzanine sleeping area. We had dinner and breakfast there too, and both were excellent. The quality of the food on Friday evening was superb. If I’m to be picky, my cocktail wasn’t great and I found the pillows too big and hard, but these are very small niggles, provided only in the interests of balance! The stay was incredible value and we would love to stay again (Bringing my own pillow wouldn’t be a hardship). Well done to all at The Fleece - you have a great team producing fantastic results.

Very clean accommodation, comfy bed liked the thick curtains ideal for a good nights sleep, plenty of parking spaces, nice views. Friendly staff. Breakfast was one of the best we have had,they used quality produce we highly recommend the full English and eggs Royale. We Ate in the restaurant one evening and that was lovely too. Sadly the hotel and restaurant was closed on arrival which was a Wednesday afternoon we was not informed until a few days before. We checked the website before booking and it was not stated closed. Rooms or reception were not signed so wandering around a little before finding our room. Bathroom extremely tiny ( room 2) But don’t want to put anyone off we did enjoy our stay and would revisit.
