Owner was welcoming and it was just perfect for what was needed

A little dated but that is too be expected so no complaints

Large room in a relatively quieter street just a short walk away from bus stops and multiple travel options.

Room maintenance could have been better and bathroom was very basic.

The owner is very nice, the location was good for us(we used the bus every day). You can even walk to the center city, but it will take around 25-30 minutes.

The room was very old, the mattress wasn't one of the most comfortable. The bathroom was very outdated, the hot water came from some instant electric heater(nevertheless, we had hot water all the time) I don't know what is the UK standard, but according to the European standard this one is under 7 for the money paid(almost 400€ for 3 nights) I could have had better options if I would have booked something in the last week before our trip(4 stats hotel for the same money, in a better location)

Cosy Scottish townhouse. Neat, clean, with a wonderful view overlooking Arthur's Seat. The host was very friendly and welcoming. Great 30-minute walk to the city through the green 'Meadows' and Edinburgh University. Fantastic value for money

Excellent location - bus stops in front of the guest house. Friendly and accommodating host.
