Amazing. Hidden gem. Food and hospitality of the highest quality.

What a fabulous place! We thoroughly enjoyed our 5-night stay here, complete with 4-course dinners every night. Stefano and Paulo are such wonderful hosts, helping you make plans for each day of your stay and providing some of the best food we had during our 3-week trip in Italy. You will feel truly pampered and will dream of a return visit! When planning our trip, I considered several similar options for Umbria but I know we selected the best one!

Erster Eindruck: die Bilder auf der Homepage und bisherigen Bewertungen übertreiben nicht, im Gegenteil. Den fantastischen Blick von hoch oben in die Tiberebene bis nach Perugia kann man nicht beschreiben, muss man gesehen haben. Das Haus ist liebevoll restauriert und technisch auf dem absolut neusten Stand. Die Abendessen (4 Gänge) sollte man auf keinen Fall versäumen. Nicht nur, dass Paola großartig kocht. 1/2 Stunde vorher lädt Stefano zu einem Aperitif ein und spendiert von seinem Wein für seine Gäste, bringt diese zusammen und es ist schnell eine lockere Stimmung geschaffen, jeder spricht mit jedem, alles sehr familiär. Wir waren gerade 10 Tage dort und rückblickend war es einer der schönsten Urlaube für uns überhaupt.

This is a jewel! Stephano and Paola have created such an exquisite place in the hills of Umbria. The buildings are historic yet recently restored from the ground up (Ask Stephano about the renovation process - fascinating!) These two pay attention to every detail and want you to have the best vacation possible. From the moment you arrive, you know you are going to have a truly special experience. The food is exceptional, the view from the infinity pool is breathtaking, the staff are warm and friendly.The interiors are tastefully decorated with handsome antiques. Our room in the annex was delightful with our own patio overlooking the gorgeous hillsides. We could not have asked for better hosts or a better location for our stay in Umbria. La Palazzetta is charming and idyllic. We will most definitely stay there again - but longer next time!

I stumbled upon this treasure when my original reservation was cancelled due to over booking. This is perhaps the best surprise i have ever encountered in terms of booking an Expedia hotel. Though the location is slightly remote, it is easily accessible and worth the additional effort and drive. Stephano and Paola ( husband and wife ) are the owners of this establishment. Everything was impeccable, including the gourmet meals that Paola created on a daily basis. Also a great wine selection. Both owners went out of their way to make us comfortable and happy......I plan to return in the next year. They also own two apartments in Lucca, one of which is available for rent!

Quel bonheur d'avoir découvert cette adresse exceptionnelle. Entre des champs d'oliviers et des vignes, nous sommes reçus dans un cadre au charme indéniable par un couple qui plaisir a recevoir ses hôtes. Une ambiance à la fois familiale et raffinée. Paola vous concocte des plats délicieux et Stefano, qui officie au service, vous prodige ses conseils de sommelier. Bref que du bonheur.
