Slight ambient noise from the pub below - really not a big issue though.

The staff were so friendly and helpful! Location was great and rooms were really clean and cosy.

Lovely place, staff were all pleasant. Great atmosphere in the pub. Rooms were comfy and had everything you would want. Easy to find and a nice leisurely walk into Cambridge. Handy to have a coop opposite too for grabbing a few snacks for the room.

Room was really warm when we arrived but no issue really as we just cracked the window. There was a fan too so if we’d needed to then we could have used it but the window did the trick 👍🏻

Initial welcome by a female staff member was very cold and unfriendly. I had arrived earlier than check-in time because I came by train and had luggage with me. She said, you can check in, but next time you won’t be allowed to. It was the way she said it. It sounded very abrupt as she handed me the keys. There was no have a nice stay. Maybe she was having a bad day or maybe she could learn some professionalism from the other staff who were all courteous and professional. It affected my first impression of the hotel.

Excellent location bright next to river and park if you have a dog. Parking right in front of pub. Sainsburys 1 min across the road. The food is amazing even though there are restaurants nearby I woukd suggest staying in the pub for dinner, excellent eggs royale fir breakfast, I imagine the cooked would be just as tasty. The bedroom was quiet no noise from pub, no noise from street or other rooms. TV and Nespresso machine thst makes Coffee and hot water fir tea. Nice touch newspaper on bed as you arrive. Free wifi and good TV channel choices. The staff were all friendly, this is not said as a cliche for the review, they were really helpful and friendly. Close walk to all campuses and city centre, without the cost of city prices.

The location is great. Short walk along River to Quayside or through Jesus Green to historical centre. Short taxi/ uber ride from train station Staff very friendly and attentive. Nice warm welcome!. Bed very comfortable. Food good. Bar/ pub had good atmosphere. Great value for money.

Room a little tired, could do with paint touch ups etc.
