Das Frühstück war sehr gut und vor allem die Frau die uns bedient hat !

Es war kein besonders herzlicher Empfang.

Traditional village pub with a lovely atmosphere and nice decor. Very friendly staff and customers. Enough parking and a nice peaceful beer garden. Room was spacious and clean with everything we needed including body lotion which was a nice touch. We were on the second floor in the attic and it was a warm night but the window opened and there was a fan so it was all good. I loved the bathroom and fantastic shower and the towels smelt really great. Had dinner which was good and reasonably priced but be careful not to eat too much as portions are large and there’s a great choice for breakfast in the morning.

Very helpful and friendly staff in a spacious traditional country inn providing excellent food and drink. The rooms were spacious and well equipped and of great import to us - the Inn was extremely dog friendly with no restrictions on where you could take your dog.

Its in nice village setting and good locals pub with food offering. Rooms are in a separate building opposite pub and were adequate and pretty quiet. Reasonable offering for breakfast and cooked to order.

Its tired and a refresh would really make it far more appealing for the room cost. Also the main door slams shut and I know you have to have self closers for fire regs but it must be possible to soften it or at least put a notice on the door.

Excellent breakfast, quality products and lots of choice. Evening meal choices varied, fresh local produce

I’ve stayed here before and the rooms are normally excellent. This may have been a slightly older room as not as nice. No air con (not generally needed in Uk) but it was a warm night and room was very warm.

Staff were wonderful.

The coffee sachets in the room were all stuck together they felt a bit old, coffee machine would be nice.

Great atmosphere and friendly staff. Good value and good quality food. Nicely presented accommodation. Clean room.

Hard mattress on a frame bed meant the bed was not very comfortable. Didn’t feel very secure in my room. No lock on the front door to the accommodation and just flimsy Yale lock on a poorly fitting internal door to the bedroom.

Lovely local pub pretty village delicious food, comfortable room and great location for visiting Milton Keynes

The breakfast was not quite as good as evening meal .
