Wonderful staff, clean room

This hotel looks like it’s going to be a great stay; the lobby and restaurant are impressive. We ate in the restaurant for an early dinner and breakfast and both were very good. However, our rooms were strange. We booked 2 suites, one for our teenage son and one for ourselves. One room was not ready for about an hour and a half (several hours after the check in window opened) so we gave the first room to our child while we had a couple of cocktails. When our “suite” was finally ready, it was much much smaller, quite cramped, and in fact the bed seemed like a strange size. Definitely not a King which is what we sleep in at home. In the morning, I asked the staff if it was possible that this was not a king bed. I was told that it was listed as a king room, and long story short, after basically being told I was crazy by the manager (!!), we ended up going upstairs with the maintenance man so he could measure the bed. Lo and behold, for some reason the bed was NOT a king, and not a queen…totally random size. I have no idea what sheets they use on this thing but the staff were just as confounded as we were. The manager on duty absolutely should have apologized for his snotty & incredulous attitude, except he did not apologize nor offer any concession whatsoever. PS you have to pay for parking, which is ridiculous because the parking lot is the size of a state fair, but 85% empty during summer program check in at Syracuse.

Great location but not as nice as other hotels in area

Clean, quiet and walkable to SUNY Upstate and SU

Really pretty property and spacious rooms. Easy walking distance to campus and M Street area. Would definitely stay here again.

Very nice place

The stuff the lady in the front desk couldn’t found our reservation I show her all the information and she insists that the reservation was no make for the hotel but that she was able to see it in booking. She asked me to call booking at 11 PM. Then I asked her to look one more time and I went to see her computer and we were there the first one in the lease so I show her our reservation and after 45 minutes She was like oh I’m sorry I didn’t see that

Located as close to the university as you can be which was my business destination.Very safe, parking lot right behind a simple gate and lighted. Amazingly quiet at night. Beds so comfortable. Clean. Had options to purchase a decent breakfast choice. Nice patio in the back

Unfortunately there was construction on the highway not far away and vibrations and banging from the heavy equipment made it unbearable to sleep starting 7am. I can sleep with passing cars but not the room moving. It was a real disappointment because everything else was perfect. That construction may be a long term issue. Wish I had known.

Staff was amazing! Will stay again

Very clean and spacious room and bathroom. Fantastic location. Great place to stay if you’re visiting your daughter/son at Syracuse! Walk to everything.
