Hotel Cincotta

The owner was beyond rude and unwelcoming. I felt uncomfortable to approach him to ask for anything. Everyone else was lovely.

What a gem of a hotel. It exceeded our expectations. Stunning location, lovely pool and access to the sea off the rocks. Generous breakfast selection. I loved my stay at La Cincotta.

Loved the situation overlooking the Port and the ocean. Also the pool overlooking the sea and being able to swim off the rocks below. The breakfast was good with a reasonable selection but no cooked breakfast on offer…very easy walk to everything and the Views from the hotel are fabulous!

We were told that the tap water was not drinkable. There was bottled water in the mini bar but no price list for this so I was surprised to be charged for the water I drank at an expensive rate. I travel a lot and am used to being provided with complimentary bottled water where the tap water cannot be drunk. It was a surprise on the last day when a mini bar price list suddenly appeared in the room… No coffee or tea facilities in the room

Everything was so wonderful. The staff were so friendly and helpful. The location was divine - you have one of the best views in Panarea - from sitting on the deck in the sun for breakfast, to lazing by the pool in the afternoon, and a nice sundowner spritz back on the deck - it’s all fantastic. Such great value for such a prized location. The balcony in the room was so lovely, and spacious. Room was spacious and had everything you need.

Stunning sea view. Freshly updated and stylish bathroom. Lovely pool. Perfect location. Comfortable bed. Seems to be 3/4 renovated, I would definitely return here, Panarea is an absolute jewel, especially so as there are no cars.

It’s early in the season so maybe this will change but I felt staff should wear a uniform as sometimes it was not easy to identify staff which was a bit awkward. Also the pool area needs more shade, a few umbrellas please :0)

We absolutely loved our stay! The hotel staff met us at the ferry port, picked us up and took us to the hotel. The hotel is located close to the port but we had a lot of luggage so we appreciated the pickup! Our room was spectacular with amazing ocean views. We loved having aperitifs on the beautiful main terrace over looking the ocean and town of Panarea. Best Limoncello spritz in Italy! Breakfast was fantastic! There was a great selection on the breakfast buffet. The kitchen staff made an omelette each day for us with a choice of fillings. There’s a private rocky beach behind the pool which was fantastic. We went there every morning before breakfast.

There wasn’t anything to really to dislike. We stayed in the start of off peak season and maybe the staff were a bit bored. We noted the reception and bar staff were a little hands off.
