This hotel is a HUGE, ultra modern, converted shopping mall and convention center, located about a 15-20 minute walk from the historic town, where there are all the usual restaurants, stores, parks and cathedrals. Yes, the hotel has amazing architecture and was certainly an architectural achievement in its day (a bit neglected exterior now). The room has floor to ceiling windows with electronic shades, which was both terrific and necessary. As a prior shopping mall, there a huge, multi-level underground parking structure (mostly cordoned off and unused). Breakfast buffet was very good. We chose this hotel primarily due to it's close proximity to a self service laundry, which was only a 4 minute walk away and adjacent to a kabab dive, a Burger King and a Shakey's Pizza, in case you don't want to wait until 8 pm to have dinner!

As a hotel, the rooms are just large boxes with no style and the cheapest faux-wood flooring that is peeling up at all the edges. The floors are soundproofed but hotel rooms doors let all the noise from the hallways. With hundreds of never-to-be-used parking spaces, why do they need to charge to park?

Spacious rooms, comfortable bed, great air conditioning, 3 elevators and underground paid parking. Large bathroom with shower & tub. Refrigerator in room.

Did not have a small coffee maker or microwave.

Que ennla habitación no hubiera calentador eléctrico de agua. Lo demás muy bien

El edificio es espectacular.

Había un ruido cada media hora (una especie de compresor o algo así) que se ponía a funcionar y estuvo así toda la noche.

Wir hatten ein Zimmer mit fantastischem Ausblick in die Berge. Mit dem Auto zügig zu erreichen und zu Fuß in die Altstadt in 20 Minuten - perfekt. Zimmer sehr großzügig und das Bett war sehr bequem.

Der Fußboden sollte ausgetauscht werden, sieht nicht sehr einladend aus. Auch die Möbel haben schon ordentlich Gebrauchsspuren. Schnell kann der "Design" Effekt von diesem Haus verpuffen.
