Absolutely beautiful place to stay in the heart of Orvieto! Just around the corner from a great restaurant (La Palomba)

Wow. Fantastic apartment in the heart of Orvieto, and the best in Italian hospitality from the attentive and thoughtful Francesca. This place isn't easy to find (especially by car), but Francesca heroically guided us across town. Great to have a selection of simple breakfast food, and the option for (European small car) private parking so you can explore the beautiful surrounding towns. Can't beat the place, especially at this price.

Lovely apartment, close to city center. OWners were very accomodating and helpful. Make sure you print out a detailed map, because the street is not well marked and we had to call them to come get us!

Very friendly host. B&b little bit difficult to find, but it is right in the centre and parking available. Maybe a better position indication of the b&b with the booking confirmation would avoid searching in all these beautiful narrow old streets. Next time we stay there again!

The apartment was great and would stay again. However, there are some things to be aware of ..... If driving arrive during daylight. The place is very difficult to find (our GPS could not locate it) The on-site parking is limited at best .... park elsewhere if possible. The owner parked our car and hit the wall ... She DOES NOT take credit cards (I did not see this anywhere on the web site). They also did not have our reservation for the correct night ... they had us coming in a day later than our reservation. We were usherd out prior to the stated check out time as there were some things they needed to do All this being said, it was a pleasant place and I would stay there again. It was wonderful to have a full size kitchen along with the sitting area.

Great location just 10 minutes from Duomo and a few minutes to resteraunts and super market. Francesca provided map with recommended places to eat. We bought food and wine at market and used the full kitchen to prepare our dinner and breakfast. Francesca set us on a wine tasting with Lapone vineyards. Our hosts, Piero and Ramona were wonderful. We will stay here again when we return

If you want to live like a local, this is an amazing place and a great value. I did get lost on the way, but the lovely Francesca came to the rescue. She also recommended a restaurant called Il Cocco that turned out to be superb. It is perfectly located within walking distance of shops, great restaurants and very hip bars as well as all historical sites. Also, the underground caves were enlightening. This is a ten for me any highly recommended.

Our experience at Michelangeli's B & B in Orvieto was exceptional! We stayed almost 2 weeks and never had a complaint. We found the room rate reasonable. Francesca, the owner, was kind and helpful but also gave us our privacy. Despite her broken English (and our broken Italian), we managed to communicate. The apartment was spotless and nicely furnished. We had plenty of coffee, juice and breakfast food stocked in the room. At your request, the owner will do your laundry - and do it well - for just a few euros extra. We were in the heart of Orvieto just a few minutes' walk from everything. When we left we gave Francesca a bouquet of flowers which she received with tears and hugs - when was the last time you got emotional checking out of a lodging? When we return to Orvieto we will stay here again without any doubt!

The B & B was close to major sites, restaurants, and activities. It had ample space and appliances for cooking and laundry. It had rustic charm. Francesca was most hospitable. Good value.

This is good B & B with nice and friendly owner. Room is spacious and clean, only problem is the WC is far away with twice small and steep staircases to climb from bedroom. Due to this reason, this B & B is unsuitable to older person or family with young child! Also, WiFi reception is very poor, new router is needed at this property. Friendly owner but no English...
