観光地への交通手段となるバス停や地下鉄も徒歩圏内で、立地がよぎったです。 朝食が大会場で宿泊客を時間差で迎え入れる方式だが、夜の会席ってくらい準備してくれて食べきれない程。 見てると華やかで豪華な気分になるが、フードロスも気になるご時世なので、そこらへんのバランスを今後期待します。

大浴場は、2つ✕男湯、女湯の合計が4つあるが、温泉ではない。

We traveled during the cherry blossom season. The hotel is located in the central part of Kyoto, and it was very pleasant to walk to the main attractions on foot. There is an onsen directly inside the hotel, although unfortunately we did not have time to visit it because of our busy schedule. The hotel also has a large lounge area with a small garden and traditional theatrical dolls displayed behind glass. It was very interesting to look at them. There was also a cozy little shop in the hotel that opened twice a day for about an hour. In addition, the hotel has a restaurant where you can enjoy delicious meals and order breakfast. Our breakfasts were included, but unfortunately they were served very early, so we never had a chance to try them. It is worth keeping this in mind when booking. Some of the staff speak English. We even accidentally left our tablet in the room after check-out and called the hotel while already being in Nara. The staff were extremely kind, found our lost item, and kept it for us for a couple of extra days. Huge thanks to them for that! We also really enjoyed the experience of sleeping on futons. We slept on two futons at once, which made it feel softer. I thought it would be too hard, but it was actually very comfortable and warm. The room has both a heater and an air conditioner in case you get cold. The room itself was very spacious compared to other rooms we stayed in while traveling around Japan. In the evening, the staff offer to prepare your futons and move the table aside. You can also change into yukatas in your room and walk to the onsen wearing them. Overall, it was an unforgettable experience. I highly recommend this hotel, and I would gladly come back again.

The hotel is a little old-fashioned and somewhat dated, but that was part of its charm. Just something to keep in mind when booking.
