Lovely pub, obviously popular, well appointed rooms, great food

Nice characterful inn by the river. Close to Caversham for a family visit. Good breakfast included in price, service was efficient.

It was a busy night so a bit noisy in room until 11.30pm. Stairs up to room steep and room compact. Breakfast waitress could have been more friendly.

Room was comfortable and pleasingly quaint. Had a great full English breakfast in the morning. Also, adjoining the Bull Inn is a beautiful centuries old church and cemetery. The church has a still active congregation and is open to explore on weekdays.

Beautiful old property with wooden beams and real log fire. Very quaint nice rooms and lovely restaurant and bar area.

Some small things need updating and we stayed above the bar and could hear the conversations that people were having.

Very comfortable bed. Room small but cosy. Great breakfast. Very convenient for The Mill at Sonning.

No welcome feeling from the staff we met. I think they were short on staff.
