Classical and elegant site with beautiful and spacious rooms . Comfortable bed . Excellent breakfast . The hotel offers a 1 star Michelin restaurant which was amazing . Friendly staff , good spa .

Pool staff is inefficient, dirty glasses and towels all over the place , not aligned with the efficiency of other team members .

The place is so quiet, completely surrounded by nature. The service was perfect, everyone was so friendly and nice. The restaurant has a lovely terrace, as does the bar. Both were quiet and accommodating!

Beautifully restored old buildings, outstanding kitchen in all restaurants. Excellent wines from the estate and its label Villabella and Cordevigo. Very helpful staff always smiling. Special thanks to Paolo for being everywhere, his wine expertise and making our stay a perfect holiday experience!

The staff was perfect

Imagine the estate of an Italian nobleman somewhere in the vineyards between Verona and Lake Garda. Beautiful classic landscaping, lush gardens, an inviting pool and lots of space in the manor-house like premises. It could be perfect if (a) the service came with less of an attitude and more professionalism and (b) the interior design of the rooms was less tacky faux-historic and more contemporary elegance. I guess you can't have it all, hence - despite these weaknesses - we would still recommend the place in view of its beautiful premises and superb location in the centre of the Bardolino and Valpolicella wine region.

Beautiful villa in a serene setting. Our room was very comfortable with views over the wonderful courtyard. The spa was particularly good with excellent sauna facilities. The breakfast was plentiful and there is the opportunity to eat on the veranda overlooking the pool when the weather permits.

The service was excellent however I didn’t find the front of house staff as warm/friendly as they should have been.

Fabulous location set in the countryside but convenient to Lago di Garda, Verona and nearby sites. The most wonderful staff, very attentive and caring. The rooms are a nice balance of historic beauty and modern convenience. Terrific restaurants and wine list, some wines coming from the property’s vineyards. So peaceful and relaxing — especially the garden, pool and indoor spa. Highly recommend.

Be aware that this area of Italy has a lot of flying insects in the summer. Not unique to this hotel but common around Lake Garda. You might find some in your room, but if you bring it to the attention of the staff they will address with insect repellent. Don’t let it detract from your stay. This is a wonderful hotel.
