Location was perfect. Lovely room and very comfy bed. Staff very helpful and accommodating.

Even though the fridge was a nice addition, we had to turn it off at night because it was quite noisy.

"Not worth the price"

6.0

The building has a lot of character and it's very conveniently located. The staff is very nice too. Breakfast was very good.

Definitely not worth the price. The building is old and the ceiling in the pub was dripping from the rain. The bathroom in the room had mold stains and the water pressure in the sink was way yo strong. We were on the second floor and we could hear people speaking from the room, as if they were sitting next to us, while we were in the bathroom. Also, the window did not close properly. The mini fridge in the room was extremely noisy and had to be turned off or there was no way we could sleep

"Will go back and will recommend to others"

10.0

Fantastic town pub with so much character. Loved the history and the quirky tables and chairs.

Parking but I guess what was available was pretty good for city centre accommodation in Winchester

"Perfect for a weekend in Winchester"

10.0

The room, the location, the breakfast, the staff, everything! We had a great weekend in Winchester :)

The narrow roads to get to the car park, but let's be honest, if you want to go to Winchester and you want to stay in the centre, then you're going to have to drive down some narrow roads! If you are coming from the south east, then my advice is to go to junction 11 of the M3 and enter the city that way, it's a bit longer but it's a much easier route to the pub than the google map directions we took on the way in, which made us come off at junction 9 and go through the centre.
