Clean and tidy, convenient to town, bathroom was nice and clean but very small, proprietor was friendly and helpful.

It was very small, with a double bed and a single bed, no where to sit to relax after a long drive, no couch or comfy chairs, only the beds to sit on which isn't comfortable for someone with back problems.

Mataki Motel is the most well maintained and clean motel I've stayed in. The unit was large and well set up. The owners were very helpful and accommodating.

Just a suggestion - maybe have a couple of hooks in the bathroom for towels.
