The Top House Inn

Great location and facilities were very good. We enjoyed our stay and could enjoy the Lizard point and lighthouse.

Sadly, while we were there they had no chef. Consequently we had to find meals elsewhere. Fortunately, there is a marvelous fish & chips nearby and a good pasties shop. All together we had an enjoyable stay. The pub is excellent and the staff very accommodating.

Great staff , the room was excellent lovely and clean and well prepared for out visit , very comfortable bed , shower & bathroom were bigger than we expected also clean and well stocked , nice towels etc a good selection of drinks was available in the room and also at the bar in the main part of the premises , overall we had a great stay and would stay again . The place is ideally suited to get to most places with ease with good parking and shops etc nearby if your staying long stay , it has great potential and we would not hesitate in staying again , they have just taken it on and I wish them all the best as I am sure they will do well

As they have only just taken over they are not doing a cooked breakfast but offered a continental which was not suitable for my wife with her diet needs , I can see when they start doing a cooked breakfast it should be amazing , they have to be given time to make changes to the place and put their own stamp on which I am 100% they will do , the place has a lot of potential and will be on our radar when we visit down that way again .

The breakfast was very very poor and totally overpriced! They have no kitchen, no staff and therefore only a continental BF with no fresh bred, and that horrible plastic cheese. They charged 17.50 per person for this via booking! This is clearly a rip-off!

The location is great for exploring the coast path and the village itself has some good places to eat. Top house were unfortunately not serving when we stayed.

Large room with two comfortable armchairs. a great bed, and windows that allowed for an expansive view of the village. Staff were friendly and helpful.
