Casa Suaya

Stayed for two nights. Hotel is small, boutique style with well designed, discreet patina style rooms. Breakfast was fresh and plentiful. Small but clean and well presented pools. Lots of high quality beaches, bars and eateries within a short drive or casual walk. Some nearby wide roads for running where you can watch kite surfing on the lagoon. Superb, relaxed venue.

I have been a customer for the last 9 years, the location is perfect, and the staff is always attentive. It's a peaceful oassis, and only five minutes away from the crowds in José Ignacio. Relaxing by the pool, or crossing the road to the beach are my favorite activities whenever I stay here.

We stayed here recently and from the outside it’s looks amazing and it genuinely has a great Look and location is perfect, nearest to the best area,In our opinion, of José Ignacio. The vibe is great for families good space to run around small play area and two pools one which is heated which is perfect for kids especially as most are not heated throughout South America! I think this hotel during high season is extremely over priced though for what you get. The rooms need updating sheets are old and bobbly, sofas were stained and furniture old or random. They are big but for the price we paid a bath would have been expected not just a small shower. The food is basic breakfast nice but always the same and eggs ordered seemed like they were made in old frying pans as black bits were left on the food. Generally it is a good hotel just over priced but the whole area seems to be very over priced for what you are getting.

Beautiful location out of the Punta del Este. Seems like the end of the world farther to the east. The hotel was wonderful with great views of the beach across the street. Beautiful pools and a restaurant providing breakfast buffet and snack type meals and drinks the rest of the day. The staff went out if their way to help us any way they could. Family type atmosphere. Really enjoyed our 5 nights there after a busy vacation

Perfect place to relax at the swimming pool with nature and very good meal. At the Casa Suaya hotel peple are very kind and helpfull. Everything is very cllean. Perfect breakfast with healthy food. Had a gourmet salad at the swimming poll. Great view

Quartos grandes, cama excelente. Hotel num campo com árvores, muito silêncio. Recepção eficiente e muito prestativa. Restaurante, quando lá estivemos, excelente. Café da manhã completíssimo é delicioso. Piscina muito limpa, serviço de toalhas de piscina ótimo.

Beautiful place surrender by nature and the best of all was the breakfast with many different types of fruits foods drinks and super friendly couple serving us like Kings I would really recommend this place the best holiday ever Thanks

13 years ago Los Angeles restaurant mogul, television personality and Argentine by birth Adolfo Suaya opened a small beach boutique hotel in Jose Ignacio, Uruguay and like most things he’s built in his life, after some time, lots of tireless attention and care it has blossomed. The hotel has about three dozen rooms, a café and a breakfast that I will dream about for weeks are all part of this compound a mile or so from the center of Jose Ignacio, an enclave of Punta Del Este, Uruguay. I spent a few amazing days here and it literally invigorated me during what would have otherwise been a dreary and painful California winter. You’ll enjoy the world class restaurants neighboring the property (La Huella, Mirasma) the eclectic and elegant visitors from around the world who come here (shop at Magma ans Altamar) and if you’re heading south for the winter (or even summer) Casa Suaya is the chicest place to go to that I’ve been. Staff standouts are Nahuel, Juana and Sergio who is the night shift guy. But I should note that everyone at Casa Suaya is super cool, super chill and super professional. The guests come from all over and although December and January are the best and most popular times to visit I could see myself coming back year-round. It’s just that perfect.
