City Center Hotel

This hotel was truly a hidden gem in Reykjavík. From the moment we arrived, the staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always happy to help with anything we needed. Our room was fantastic — spacious, comfortable, and with a beautiful view that made our stay even more special. The location was also excellent, with all the main attractions, restaurants, and shops within walking distance. Everything about our experience exceeded our expectations. We would happily stay here again and highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Reykjavík.

I was unable to locate this hotel using either Google Maps or the iPhone GPS, despite multiple attempts. One of the primary reasons I selected this property was the availability of parking; however, there was no accessible street parking nearby that would have allowed me to safely stop and search for the hotel on foot. The only alternative was to use a paid parking garage, which would have eliminated the cost savings I received through my booking. Unfortunately, due to these challenges, I was not able to check in or evaluate the hotel itself. Lost my money for a hotel I booked but could not find. The hotel did not answer my call when I was trying to find it.

Wonderful room for 2 nights - got our favorite food recc of the trip (Seabaron) from a friendly clerk and got two chances to meet Baktus the cat who hangs around sometimes. There were some rowdies causing quite a ruckus down the street our first night but thanks to the complimentary ear plugs CCH provided we slept great Great value too!
