Casa Garzotto Integrated Hotel

Aleksandra was a great communicator and responded to all of my questions quickly. The apartment is located in the heart of Rovinj and the breakfast was scrumptious.

Location is excellent. Breakfast was alright. The woman that checked us in brought us a beer and a glass of wine. Our room was only one floor up the stairs, made hauling luggage not as bad as rooms higher up.

Lighting is VERY bright. No dimmers on any of the lights including bedside and bathroom. No water or snacks available, included or to purchase. No TV. No internet. This is basically a very large bedroom with nothing else.

Great location. Maria was lovely, came and picked us up and drove us into town, then took us back to our car the next morning. Breakfast was quite good, especially the freshly baked bread. Mattress was comfortable, but the pillows were very hard, despite my request for a very soft pillow.

Dilapidated, dark and not a hotel at all. It is a dingy building with a number of rooms/apartments. Stairs very steep and winding. We were likely the only people in the building. Ground floor had only a boarded up wall, no reception at all. No internet, no television, very small shower and the toilet had brown stains on it. "Carpet" was actually 2 rugs, which looked quite grubby.

Wir waren Anfang April für vier Nächte im Hotel Casa Garzotto in Rovinj. Das Hotel ist superschön gelegen mitten in den Gassen der Altstadt, nur einen kurzen Fußweg von der Promenade entfernt. Rundherum sind zahlreiche Restaurants und Bars sowie Geschäfte. Auch zur Kirche Heilige Eufemija auf einer Anhöhe, mit einem traumhaften Blick auf den Sonnenuntergang über dem Meer, ist es nur einen kurzen Fußweg die Gassen hinauf. Überhaupt ist alles wunderbar fußläufig erreichbar. Der Frühstücksraum befindet sich in der parallelen Gasse in einer kleinen Trattoria, unglaublich urige Räumlichkeiten, die über 1000 Jahre alt sind. Die Trattoria wie auch das Hotelzimmer ist mit besonders viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet. Das Frühstück war sehr gut und hatte alles, was das Herz begehrt. Es gibt auch Parkplätze, etwas abgelegen aber durch den Shuttle der Gastgeberin ist das Vor allem aber Marja, die Hotelinhaberin ist unfassbar liebenswürdig, hilfsbereit und freundlich. Mit ihrer Art verleiht sie dem Hotel einen wunderbar persönlichen Charme. Ein wirklich zauberhaftes Hotel, mit viel Vergangenheit. Wir haben uns absolut willkommen und wohl gefühlt und kommen gern wieder.
