Silver Beach Hotel & Apartments

Localização junto ao mar, numa zona muito tranquila longe da cidade, junto a vários alojamentos e hotéis. O quarto era espaçoso e limpo, com varanda (o nosso tinha vista mar) e kitchenette. A oferta de comida era melhor do que o que tinha lido online, com novas opções todos os dias, com diversidade qb. O hotel é sossegado, perfeito para quem não adora a confusão dos resorts, mas procura o conforto das refeições incluídas. O hotel disponibiliza serviço de toalhas para usar na praia e piscina. Dispõe de mesa de ping pong, campo de voleibol e futebol (em relvado), parque infantil e duas piscinas, uma delas junto a um bar. Há residentes de 4 patas, gatos mimosos que fazem as delícias dos restantes hóspedes. A 5 min a pé existe um restaurante e mini mercado. Fica a cerca de 30 min de carro de Chania, a cidade mais bonita da ilha!

O tudo incluído limita-se às refeições (pequeno-almoço, almoço e jantar), sem opções de lanche. As bebidas incluídas são de pressão (pepsi, 7up, água, soda, cerveja e vinhos e sumos durante as refeições). Tudo o resto é pago à parte (um cocktail custa 10€ fora da happy hour, em que ficam a 7€). O bar fecha cedo, e o hotel fica um pouco isolado de animação noturna.

Staff were wonderful, every contact we had with them was very good. The bar staff always get all the credit but restaurant staff, receptionists, cleaning and the gardener were all very friendly and polite. The room was excellent, we were on the ground floor so we just hopped over the small balcony wall and you were on the beach ready to reserve for sunbed for the day ( your not allowed to put stuff on sunbeds to reserve them but we did anyway!) Large room with 2 sofa beds , fridge , electric cooking ring , kettle . The shower was very good as well as the very reliable internet connection. Food was ok but more of that in the next comments. The main pool (we didn't use the smaller one) was lovely , very clean and plenty of sunbeds to go round.

As i said the food was ok but could have ben better. Breakfast and lunch tended to be better than dinner. the food was not nearly hot enough for my liking. I realise that they have a lot of people to cater for but maybe smaller serving dishes topped up more regularly might be better. Plenty of choice and the desserts were very good. A small thing that bugged me was the music in the pool area coming from the bar. Now i know it's just me being a grumpy old git but the music was quite loud at times and the playlists could have been more in place with the surroundings (do you really need AC/DC at eleven in the morning when you just want chill and read your book?). The beach is not great for swimming, quite stony when walking into the sea and drops away sharply so not good for kids but as mentioned before the pool is great.

L'accueil dés notre arrivée, l'amabilité et le professionnalisme des employés, les grandes chambres et leur belle vue sur la mer, et la qualité des repas, petits déjeuners, déjeuners et diners .La propreté des lieux , jardins, piscines, plages,chambres et restaurants est remarquable

la rigidité des horaires surtout le soir, après 21 Heures : rideau et après 20 heures 30 pour pénétrer dans le restaurant
