I love the Middle Park Hotel. A grand old building with beautiful details. I had dinner in the restaurant which was really good.

The bed wasn''t all that comfy and I was disappointed that I couldn't open a window (just a little bit). I assumed an older establishment would have windows that could be opened. Also, the fridge motor was really loud when it kicked in.

"Great Place To Stay For Country Folk"

The room is well appointed - excellent bathroom, comfortable king sized bed, privacy shutters & blinds fitted to double-glazed windows, inverter unit for heating/cooling, fridge, and something totally unexpected was the inclusion of a pod machine and milk frother for the perfect morning coffee. The building is across the road from the light rail station which will take you to St. Kilda or the city in minutes and it is situated in a in a small strip of businesses containing an IGA, Pharmacy, Bakery, very upmarket cafes and restaurants, fashion & jewellery and more.
