Daintree Riverview Lodges

We had selected this property due to its locaton for easy access to Cape Tribulation & Daintree sights.

On arrival we checked out their lodge rooms & found them to be of lower end backpacker standard, very basic with the view across a car park to the banks of the river. We advised the manager that this property was not suitable & he said cancel it. He was not surprised. Luckily we had booked via booking.com & the cancellation with no charge was instant.

Beautiful place, people were welcoming and friendly. Our lodge hosts were amazing and we were made to feel at home and their knowledge of the area, plants and animals was outstanding

There wasn't a single thing I didnt like

Lovely comfortable rooms. Beds were fantastic. The view spectacular. Michael was so great with information for the area. Highly recommend.

location, location, location. Right next to the the morning's tour down the river. Accommodating to visitors and allowing the early morning tours to finish before checking out.

We came at night and lighting was poor. Very limited food selections available at the property.

Hôtel original avec en plus de la récupération de type antiquaire, les salles communes salon et cuisine sont très sympathiques face à la rivière. Le soir le restaurant d’en face fait office de pub.

Le hôtel est tranquille, c’est une voie sans issue sauf pour les bateaux à touristes crocodiliens.

The hosts are very kind, friendly, and ensured we made the most out of our stay. The room was beautiful and the aircon worked well. The kitchens available to all had everything you needed to cook for yourself so bring some groceries to save some $$ And theres a beautiful bbq too. So be sure to bring some steaks along with you! The verandah overlooking the river was an excellent place to relax and enjoy the view. Laundry facilities too!! While there we did a croc tour and it was fabulously informative and affordable too

Not recommended for people with disability as there are steep though short path to get to the accommodation across a lawn.
