Rodrigo Apartments

Thanks, we had a lovely time in Split. The apartment was spotless and spacious, great location too. Adriana was so helpful and friendly. It's great to have the option to be picked up from the airport too. Thank you ladies, we enjoyed our time in Croatia!

We booked Rodrigo Apartments on the basis that the location pin and address AND DESCRIPTION pointed it to within the walls of the palace, plus the pictures of charming rooms. What we got was an apartment in a block of flats next to a loud school playground 10 minutes walk away from where the map and address we booked was. We complained, and credit to our host she tried to get us closer to the old town and we moved apartments. However it still was not where we had booked, was outside the walls plus it lacked charm and put a dampner on our holiday. I would advise you check where exactly your apartment is if location is important to you. I cannot give a true review of rodrigo apt because I don't believe I stayed there. We were told 'Rodrigo Apt' is a group scattered around Split. The pictures shown here do not include where we were put. Once again our host was very kind and sympathetic, I just feel that the description on here is not accurate.

I booked under confirmation no. 18447997 for Rodrigo apartments. I was taken to a different address from the booking, not near to Bosanska or the picture shown. Instead, a dingy side street up a murky staircase to a 2nd floor apartment. Once inside the sofa was dirty, no microwave, a pathetic shower, no instructions for the complicated TV, a VERY NOISY location, no adequate windows to keep the sound out from a late-open noisy pizza joint. None of the photo gallery pictures on the website corresponded to the website. Some of the listed amenities were simply not there. Broken WC brush,,one window shutter partly broken and stuck, no cleaning products let alone cleaning service... no microwave - at €88 per night poor value. When I tackled the representative (otherwise a charming lady called Laura) in effect shrugged her shoulders and said that her boss (identity and location undisclosed!) told her to take me there. But above all: I have never encountered being taken to a different location from the one booked and with clearly inferior facilities. Big letdown.

Great place to stay. A very modern and spacious apartment with Western Style decor, amenities and lots of space. We had a family of 5 at the place and it was wonderful. The apartment was conveniently located in the center of the old city and featured air conditioning, high speed internet and wonderful kitchen. Definitely good value for the price. Service was excellent.

Great place, right near the palace, AC works wonders, easy access. Good spot. Loved it!

We stayed here 2 couples and were very happy. The location is prime in the old town area, and there are facilities for cooking and washing. The only negative is that the second bedroom is accessed through the first, which can be a bit inconvenient, and only one of the bedrooms has AC. Adriana was extremely friendly and helpful, even getting us tickets for the ferry to Hvar! We were very happy overall.

Great location and very roomy place, in a quiet neighborhood. Wifi did not work as advertised though

We had a wonderful stay at the Rodrigo Apartments. The apartment is right in the middle of the downtown area - which is a big plus (Split is gorgeous), but also well insulated from the street noise thanks to new windows. The apartment was on the third floor and furnished with several restored, old pieces which added caracter to the space. The service was just great - the office manager was very attentive and timely, picking up the phone even on Sunday morning. Have them arrange your transportation from and to the airport; it is cheaper and more convenient. The apartment was not only a great base to explore the old city of Split, but also the perfect base for a day trip to Bosnia since the main bus station is only 10-15 minutes away (walking distance). We would go back to the Rodrigo Apartments, and we would be happy to recommend it to friends.

Had considerable trouble contacting the administrator of the unit - difficult to contact on cell, late for meetings, unreliable in terms of meeting commitments.

Nice appartement with two bedrooms for 5 people. Aircon and wi-fi. In the absolute center of splits old town.
