"Inflexible with accommodating date changes and unprofessional in handling my request"

The property was beautiful, well maintained and clean.

My poor review is because of my experience in dealing with staff on a date change. Staff was unreceptive to my request for a date change. I had to call them one day a week for 4 weeks before they honored my request. Additionally they charged me $125/room extra for the date change. I paid double the expense with a lot of hassle. Sheila was very nice but didn’t have the authority to make the change - which required approval from her manager. He was supposed to call me but never did! I’ve never experienced such an inconvenience as I did with this hotel. Their unwillingness to accommodate my date change due to a family emergency caused me much grief. I had no choice but to pay $250 additional expense for 2 rooms otherwise I would have lost all my money. I realize that this was booked as a non-refundable room on booking.com but I wasn’t asking for a cancellation— only a date change! After this experience, I will not book any future travel through booking.com or book this hotel ever again.

"Very Good"

Are room had two ac units outside are window which made the bed vibrate. The noise was continuous . Told staff nothing was done. Slept 1 hour.

"Nice stop on my trip from Florida to New York"

Staff was very polite. Friendly and helpful. Didn't get names but young man at 8pm check in was so nice, as was attractive white haired lady at morning check out. We had lovely conversations with both.
