Rijasa Agung Resort and Villas

This charming, country-side hotel is about a 15-minute drive away from Ubud town center. The hotel has spectacular views of the Ayung river and surrounding jungle. Two great infinity pools let you enjoy your stay in this idyllic and quiet hotel. The rooms are spacious and clean with faux marble throughout the room and bathroom. The service in the hotel could be a bit more proactive though, e.g. you have to find a waiter to order drinks/food to consume at the pool. Also the breakfast buffet was rather basic. It's probably better to eat outside the hotel.

The service is excellent, the hotel staff are friendly and they would go the extra miles to help make your stay pleasant. Although the hotel is a little further from the Ubud central they offer a shuttle service which you could arrange at your convenient with the hotel staff. The view is breathtaking too. I would recommend it to people who would like to explore outside Ubud central and love nature walks.

Friendly and helpful service and great value for money for such a beautiful location high above the ravine, overlooking forest. Two beautiful swimming pools. Very flexible on shuttle rides into Ubud and back - Few people seem to eat in the restaurant other than at breakfast so atmosphere is very quiet - for any kind of evening entertainment Ubud is the destination (about 15-20 minutes drive). Small local village with basic provisions. Bicycles available and white water rafting also nearby. Recommended if you like peaceful surroundings,

This hotel was great, staff were very helpful but sometimes problems with understanding English, but this added to the fun of it. Rooms beautiful, very spacious, linen could be improved. About 25 mins from Ubud, which didn't really create a problem as there was always a shuttle bus. Food at hotel reasonably priced. View from rooms wonderful, overlooking hillsides and river. Good value.
