Rijasa Agung Resort and Villas

The staff make this hotel. Although many don't speak perfect English, they do their best and more to ensure your stay is enjoyable. Bedroom is large, with uncomfortable bed (how can a matress be so hard?) Bathroom has a shower over bath. Pool area is pretty. Breakfast is included, but everything I ate (spinach, mixed veg and potatoes) was absolutely covered in garlic! Foul. It was so bad I didn't bother with breakfast again. If the staff had been less good the hotel would have got 3 stars. It's certainly not luxury. Hotel is located a 25 min drive from Ubud centre.

Wow!! This place is a visual treat. From the time we entered this place it felt we were in a palace (You can just point your cam in any direction and click :)) Again we found this hotel after lot of online search as this too generally doesn't show up on popular hotel aggregaters. Location: it is located in the outskirts of Ubud in between the lush greenery. You will be away from the noise and crowd and will enjoy the peaceful nature.. If you need to go to market you will have to use the shuttle or personal taxi/scooter.. The place is easily accessible by car so reachablility is not an issue.. Staff: The restaurant staff is extremely courteous and is always with a smile.. Didn't interact much with front desk so can't comment more on that but seems fine.. Room/Pool : 2 words : Instagram Paradise :) You can spend whole day at the 24x7 infinity pool with minimum crowd. We had deluxe room which was on the second floor (#204) and had a great view of the jungle and pool from the balcony.. A river flows in the jungle which also is visible from the balcony. However I would also recommend to keep the balcony door closed in night as insects might get inside( though I didn't face this problem). Food : Since this place is not over crowded the restaurent has a good spread of breakfast but not too extravagant (to minimize the wastage I guess). However I recommend to may be change up few things daily so that it doesn't become monotonous. Overall : I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who is looking to take a break from chaos and spend some quality peaceful time. A hidden gem in Ubud.

We had a wonderful time at this hotel! We were pleasantly surprised by an upgrade to a villa with a private pool! The room is big enough with a comfortable outlay, everything seems to be in the right places. It has split system airconditioning which was a pleasant change after old noisy aircons in Novotel Nusa Dua. Breakfast was tasty and plentiful. We had couple of dinners there and they were nice as well. The staff is very courteous and helpful. We asked for a late checkout and we got it. We wish nothing but the best to this hotel! If you are considering a nice and relaxing place to stay look no further.

Rijasa feels like your very own palace... I like peace and quiet and Rijasa gave me just that. The views from your room and the pools are breathtaking, you look down into the quiet jungle and you can take a dip in the infinity pools as the sun sets on the horizon... The staff were brilliant- friendly and so helpful, it really does make such a difference! The rooms are beautiful and clean with a French touch and lots of space... I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking to relax and unwind in Ubud!!!

The hotel is incredible. So gorgeous and the staff are a delight. The views from the hotel over the valley and THREE infinity pools is breathtaking. A nice relaxing place to stay away from the hustle and bustle of Ubud, but well placed to visit all the major tourist sites. You won't go hungry at breakfast, room service is super quick and the food is excellent, laundry and house keeping - couldn't ask for better, and the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff is second to none. Highly recommended to anyone visiting nearby Ubud. Whilst out of town, the hotel provides a free shuttle service during the day, and drop off and pick up is conveniently located. Be sure to check the Rijasa out, you won't regret it!

Das Hotel bietet warscheinlich die schönste Aussicht! Der Pool ist ebenfalls ein Highlight. Die gesamte Anlage ist beeindruckend. Das Frühstück ist einfach gehalten. Für jemanden mit keinen hohen Ansprüchen i.O. Es gibt einen gratis Shuttle Service von/nach Ubud! Zimmer sind groß und haben das wichtigste. Die Zimmer wirken nur etwas kalt. Die Sauberkeit war auch völlig i.O.

From where the hotel was situated on a hill overlooking the river, the view is priceless. The infinity pool faces the Agung River where you can spot white water rafters loading onto their boats in the morning. The location is quite secluded so you definitely need a driver or you could take the hotel's free shuttle. Room is good sized and comfortable, and they have a huge tub enough for two to share. Only downside is the flight of steps you have to take to get to your private villas but the concierge will gladly help with your luggage. Other than that, if you really want a quiet place to find your solitude, this is indeed a hidden gem!

View great,position too far out of Ubud although transport to and from Ubud was adequate. Breakfast was usually cold, limited and not very desirable

The hotel is 25 min by car from Ubud, placed on the top of a hill and surrounded by the amazing Ubud jungle! The hotel is clean, nice and the staff super friendly! I definitely suggest to stay there and to relax a bit in the two amazing infinity pools!
