The Studio One at Nusa Dua

If you have a tight budget on a conference in Nusa Dua, the hotel might be the right place to stay. The rate is about 30-40 USD per night. Is quite clean, and easy to access from the airport, and within walking distance to the convention hall (about 1 km). However the room amenities are lacking, so you have to bring your own toiletries and all. Breakfast was poor, so you might find your breakfast outside the hotel or bring your own food. The room was standard, but still nice to sleep. The hotel also serve hot water for bath, but it's not always run, especially in the morning with so many other guest taking their shower. However, it is easy to travel around from the front of the hotel, plus it's not really take a long time to go to the airport.

I participated for a international conference at BNDCC and i used this place for stay. You can walk to BNDCC or Nusa Dua golf course from this place. I stayed six nights and it was worthy for the price. The staff was really good and very friendly. I requested for a weighting scale and they didn't have it when i asked. But they managed to provide me one before i left the place. Room service was good and they won't bother you. With all these pluses, there was some problem as well. I was in room 203 and the bathroom stink. I complained to staff. They did several things, but problem was there. I suspect that was coming from the gully pit of the shower area, But if you switched off the bathroom light (which shared a common switch with the exhaust fan), you can manage the problem. So my overall recommendation is, this is a good place for a short stay, especially when you are on a business trip. you can enjoy the country, come back at night and you can have a good sleep.

My views are more useful for Indians. If you are travelling alone for attending business conference then just go ahead and book this place. You will not get any other place at Nusa dua at this price .Let me list down positive & negatives Positive - Location is very good - Hotel is neat and clean - Zero Risk - Rooms are clean - AC is good - HOT water available 24 hrs - Excellent staff NEGATIVES - Only Two slice of break fast, omelette and drink in breakfast - Free Wi Fi available but cannot be accessed from hotel rooms - Toilet is very very small. The glass partition can be really difficult for 80 kg + individual - No room service and no intercom available. - No swiming pool

Just before main entrance to Nusa Dua resorts -Walking distance to beach, seafood restaurants,resorts,cheap massages. Very clean linen & now has basic brekkie. No fridge in room or tea/coffee facilities. Shower area needed a good scrub however otherwise room & bathroom very clean & spacious. Nice Indian restaurant & yummy ocal cheap restaurant ($2-4$A)- open lunchtime till 5pm - near hairdressing salon opposite KFC. NoEnglish channels on TV however spent most of the time at beach or sightseeing. Excellent for a few days stay before returning home & not far from airport.

We loved Studio One. Don’t let the outside fool you. We asked to see the room prior to checking in as the outside looks a little dodgy. We booked a deluxe room on the first floor for $45 per night. We knew not to expect amazing pools, multiple restaurants.... all we needed was a good bed for the night central to nusa dua attractions. The room is spacious and clean, new aircon was nice and cold & staff friendly. The only downside for us was a draining issue in the shower. We were showering in a couple of cm's of backed up water. Hubby pulled the drain out to find heaps of hair built up underneath blocking the water, problem fixed but a little YUK. :) Would stay here again if all I needed was a clean room to recuperate for another day of Bali adventures.

it looks better than what the website shown! At first we thought that Studio 1 was very hard to find but it is just situated at the main road site, right opposite there has a 24 hrs convenience shop. the rooms were clean, staff was nice, the environment is ok. if you are planning to hang out at Tanjung Benua, this hotel fits your need. But you will find nothing to do at night unless you got transport. overall is good, but my room faced a problem. Air-con dripping water. Had a good time staying in Studio 1 still. Recommended.

The hotel is just average.....The staff is super friendly though, so I guess that makes up for a few things. The room that I stayed in for 4 days & night was a deluxe room. The room is spacey enough so that's good, the bathroom however it wasn't good at all.....the shower cubicle was rusting on the edges and wasn't really clean...the pipe next to the toilet is leaking pretty steadily into the shower cubicle, so the floor is kind of slimy and wet which isn't good at all. The shower head was broken, so a lot of water went up and out of the cubicle, making the sink and stuff that was right next to the shower cubicle, wet. If they fix all those things, it will be very good. Couldn't sleep on the first night due to mosquitoes, but after I asked the room to be sprayed the next day, it was okay, I did find one or two mosquitoes after that but it didn't bother me as much. They never change the bed sheet the whole time I stayed there....I know because I kept seeing the same brown stain on the bed cover. Overall it's okay..I went for a business trip so it's okay, but for the price of the room....it could be better as there are other places that are relatively cheaper and nicer.

me and my wife just stay from 4-7 April 2012, we found room is big and very clean including toilet. it is affordable price at Nusa Dua and take 15 mins walk to Nusa Dua Beach/ Bay. more convenient for us also because we found traditional market just next on left block, it is easy to find local food and fruit from hotel.

When you pay very cheap, what will you expect? We stayed there for 2 nights before move to hotel in Kuta Area. Its not that far from Kuta/ aiport, about 20kms. The room size is reasonable, even have area to pray (for muslim) in the room, kiblat sign available, hot shower, no water hitter n mug in the room but we can borrow from them. Air cond available and ready when we want to move in. Very helful staff, I even accidentally left my creditcard at the counter for hours and the staff keep it for me. Walking distance to beaches , local shops at reasonable price (must nego!) ,24 hours mart, hardys mall(very cheap supermarket). Dont worry on your transportation to any place in Bali, lots of travel agent nearby, lots of taxi, got public bus from Nusa dua route up to Batu Bulan at 3500 rupiah per person. Got rental motorbikes and car.

Stay at this hotel for 2 nights in Summer 2011. Pretty decent location - there is a little strip mall like place (5 min down main road out front hotel, to the left) with some tasty and well priced resturants. Biggest 'con' was that the shower drain went VERY SLOW, therefore, the bathroom floor would fill with 1-2 inches of water due to the design. Other than the bathroom (some hairs), the room was clean and well-kept. SPacious and very good AC (newer) unit. For $40-45/night, it provided decent value.
