Hotel Rossi

This is a great hotel. The rooms are clean, staff are kind and the restaurant has great food and a pizzeria. The hotel was easy to find as it is right off of the main road and it's just a few minutes drive up to the heart of San Marino (not walkable). The hostess gave us a discount card for parking and the sites and it saves us a few dollars. The only "complaint" that I could give, was that the bed was VERY firm. We'd go back to this hotel for sure.

Lovely hotel, spotless and with a good restaurant. One definite advantage for us was the parking space.

Great location and value to explore San Marino region

It was a pleasing one-night stay in a very comfortable and clean room. We ate at the hotel's restaurant and the food was delicious! Also, the service was really quick!

We stayed here as we didn't want to be in the main town area. The hotel was handy for the bus from Rimini, it did involve crossing 4 lanes of traffic to go the other way though! We didn't have a car so relied on the bus which runs around 1 every 1.5hrs, the hotel is on a hill and there are no paths so walking anywhere is difficult. The hotel itself was comfortable and the staff were happy to help with anything we needed. San Marino national football team were in the hotel at same time as us and the mascots for the game were a little noisy but quietened down eventually. They were no major trouble just a little excitable! This hotel is probably best to visit with a car but if you're in no rush it is doable by public transport, the bus drivers tell you when to get off which is a positive

We were travelling by car across Italy, and found this hotel was good value for a stop over. Quite near to the old area further up the hill, but a bit too far to walk.

Pro's: Good hotel in good condition, good value for money. San Marino is 10 minutes away by car. Lift is old, but overall room cleanliness and condition are rather good. Cons: They recommend their own restaurant, though we didn't liked it - the food was not good, and the manager taking away our course not eaten at all, even didn't ask what was wrong with it.

Nothing bad to say. Friendly staff, clean and comfy room and good breakfast.

When I arrived I was originally given a room that didn't meet the description of what I'd reserved, but the front desk staff readily let me change (to the room with a balcony). This is one of the homiest and friendliest hotels I've ever stayed at, much of it due to the buzzing restaurant on the ground floor. The staff speak good English and go out of their way to help you. If you are sensitive to noise beware that the walls are very thin and the doors make a lot of noise to open and close -- best to bring earplugs. Other than that I highly recommend. It was only a 12-minute bus ride up to the old town where people were paying double at hotels that didn't look any nicer.

A pleasant, well-located hotel about halfway up the main road between the France border to the medieval towers at the center of the city.
