Haus Bethusy

Position was good on the edge of main part of town. Host was obliging on a very wet day to have room early.

There were three flights of stairs. Especially when you have to carry luggage up

The location was absolutely perfect! 2-3 minutes walk and you’re in the centre of Bellagio. Close to restaurants and bars yet still really quiet, we didn’t hear a thing from outside. The apartment was super spacious and was the perfect size for 2 of us. Hosts were really responsive whenever we had any issues or questions and responded pretty much straight away. They were kind enough to let us have a late check out and briefly use the room to change our clothes after checkimg out. Lobby area was beautiful and smelt amazing 😅

The apartment was quite tired, a lot of dirty scuff marks on the bedroom walls and the bathroom window frame had a lot of black mould on it. I messaged the hosts about this and housekeeping came the next day and cleaned it which was great. A very small grumble was that when we arrived there was no water or milk to make hot drinks, there was the option to purchase cold drinks and wine from the lobby but as we were out most of the day we didn’t do this.

Manager was always available

They didn't change the towels for 3 days, and the garbage was not picked up for 3 days We didn't expect the room to be on the third floor. For old people like us it was very hard going up the stairs

Location was central but quiet.

Location, very clean and secure. The owner was very easy to get a hold of and very helpful!

Great location, right in the town of Bellagio, which is stunning

Nothing to do with the apartment but finding parking is tricky around the town

You can't beat the location. Close to the ferry and the center of town. So many restaurants, the San Giacomo church and shopping only steps away. The Italian sandwich shop right next to the apts is a must. Fresh made bread upon order and the shop owner was very friendly. We stayed in the studio apt, perfect for a couple. Very clean and spacious. Comfortable bed. Clara, the owner and her daughter Sonia, were great in accommodating our request. The breakfast buffet at Hotel Du Lac, that you can purchase, is worth it. I would stay here again if ever in Bellagio.

Had to pay for extra towels if needed. I like an extra towel to dry my hair, but it sufficed having to use the hand towel.
