Off-season quiet. Most staff helpful and exceptionally friendly. Peaceful and mature landscaping maintained.

Rooms are quite dark. Beds rather uncomfortable. Reception desk not very welcoming. Also surprise at check-out 3% credit card fee unwritten anywhere in bookings.com listing, and they didn’t care. Truly adds up after 5 days stay. Spa rather rustic.

Location Pool Bed

No hot water. Asked for repair 4 times. Was fixed once but only worked for 1 shower. No staff ever checked with us and discount not offered at check out

The location was really nice at the beach with snorkelling reef outside the hotel. The garden is beautiful. The cleaning staff is working hard and we appreciate their efforts. Also the gardeners.

The staff was unprofessional and unwelcoming. Staff was sleeping in the restaurant every day. Because its low season maybe, but still unprofessional. We chose to have dinner at other locations. We booked a private slow boat to menjangan via the hotel and we paid 2 million rupiah for it. But the guide was super unprofessional. Barely spoke English. Didnt introduce himself first, talked only to locals. And I mean, to every man he saw. He stopped at every boat to talk with the other guides and laughed and didnt tell us what was going on. He dropped us at the harbor, and vanished. Not telling us anything and then came back and revealed he was the guide. During the snorkeltrip he just didnt say anything and swam far away. Other guides had to tell us where he was. Super weird. Feels a bit scammy. There were so many mosquitoes, way worse than other places. Mosquito net didnt help. Many many bugs in the bathroom. And toilet in the full sun. The staff never asked us how our stay was, they only do the payments and then you get rushed out. We’ve been to Indonesia lots of times, but we never felt this uncomfortable before.

The staff were courteous and warm, they always greet with a smile and extend any help they can. The room is beautiful and the whole resort is also well maintained and clean. The food in the restaurant was excellent.

There were a lot of mosquitos in the dining area, in my room, in the beach area. In the morning, all the diving speedboats block the beach view.

We loved the beach side location, the quiet, the decor of the rooms, the gardens, the service.

Not much, could have stayed longer

The whole design, inside & outside. Beautiful lush garden. Location near the sea. Quietness. Great Greek food in the restaurant (also serving Indonesian food).

Bathroom wasn’t very clean and had LOTS of big ants. Music in the Greek Restaurant was too loud and out of context (pop music instead of Greek or local music, or at least more “soft”, for example jazz or no music at all..,the sound of the sea is beautiful too :-)). We gave staff this feedback and music was lowered down in volume. Upon checking in, there was a young man, part of the team, who started talking to my husband about investing in real estate without my husband even interested in this and just wanting to check in to our room. Very inappropriate we felt.
