Hampton Inn Geneseo

The property was clean, quiet and just what we needed for a long weekend away. Pool area and hot tub were nice.

breakfast was adequate. fresh fruit was over ripe and bruised the first day. Improved after that. All the prepared options were highly salted.

A clock in the room would have been great. Also an addition chair or small bench next to the bed to put a cell phone flashlight and other objects to have handy in the middle of the night would be great.

Great breakfast, nice pool and hot tub.

In the front planters there were cups with cigarette butts in them. Along with buckets to hold the plants up. The stones had cigarette butts. The drier vent sprays all over the stones, making it dirty.

The staff here were super friendly, kind, and helpful. The continental breakfast was good, and the location was great! There are a lot of nice shops and restaurants around the hotel, and it is conveniently located to Letchworth State Park, which is an absolute gem! The two queen beds in the room we paid for were comfortable, and the overall layout of the hotel was easy to navigate.

The furniture was quite old. For example, the office chair was all torn and frail. The pull out bed on the couch in our room was so overused that I could actually feel the bar going into my back as I laid on it. The furniture in the dining room where we ate breakfast was very dirty and warn. The hotel should consider replacing the furniture, especially in the dining hall. The pool and hot tub both needed to be cleaned, and the walls and curtains in the queen suite we paid for could use some TLC, too.

The staff are friendly and the facility is clean.
