The room was great, a small studio with a great balcony.

The resort seemed derelict. Noone round the pool, it was a bit run down, no restaurant and the bar not in use. Long way to walk to anywhere although 7 Eleven nearby.

Easy check - in and the size of the room was great and clean.

Was difficult to communicate with staff as they didn't speak english. The common area (restaurant) was uninviting/rundown. There were a lot of mosquitos coming into the room through the gaps in the door. There was also a path light right outside our room, so it kept the room illuminated all night.

When we left this hotel, we regretted that we booked our next stay in advance and therefore could not extend our stay at Honey Tara. It was great. Quick and responsive staff, also really friendly. They cleaned the room properly every day. It was a very big room with a nice big balcony, perfect for breakfast. Our fridge had a power outage and they fixed it within a few hours after we wrote. Seven eleven just outside the door. Also easy to rent motor since there were several options nearby.

AC was a bit loud and the shower temperature tended to switch a little bit. We had a little bit problem with ants in the kitchen due to bread crumbs but since they clean it every day, we got rid of them in two days.

The staff were so friendly and helpful. They were really accommodating when we would enquire about daytrips or getting around the island. The apartments are very well equipped too. Definitely a great place to stay.
