The hotel is in a very historic house that had been modernized. Quite street close to the sunset wall and very close to everything in the city.Eexcellent breakfast and very accommodating staff. however, they do not make any recommendations for restaurants. I found this puzzling. Yes there is a restaurant on premises but it is not columbian food. Because of issues with the first room, on our second stay, our room was comped, which was very gracious of the hotel. We did pay more for that room originally and it was the nicest. AC still needs a lot to be desired.

The room on the first floor next to the “pool” is very dank and smelly. We were relocated to different room the next day, which was nicer, but AC was not powerful enough. You do need an excellent AC in Cartagena.

From the moment we were greeted at the entry door the staff could not have been more attentive and kind. The room and common areas were gorgeous and clean. Breakfast every morning far exceeded expectations.

Excellent property. Amazing staff. They welcomed us saying welcome to your home in Cartagena and I must say it felt like that. Lovely place and lovely people!
